Information We Collect
MilkyBrain, operated by MILKYBRAIN S.R.L. (the data controller), collects two kinds of information. When you visit our website or use our services, we may collect details you provide, such as your name, email and phone number, along with basic interaction data (pages visited, device, time on page) and cookies used to store preferences and improve functionality.
Separately, for our business-to-business outreach, we collect limited professional contact details of businesses — business name, a generic business email address (e.g. info@company.com), business phone, website and city — from publicly available sources such as public business directories and map/listing services. We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data. All data is handled responsibly to maintain transparency and build trust.
How We Use Your Data
Website data is used to improve and personalize your experience, communicate effectively, and optimize our services. Business contact details are used to introduce our services to other businesses (B2B direct marketing) and to manage any resulting relationship.
Our legal basis for this outreach is our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in promoting our services to relevant businesses, balanced against the recipient's rights. Every commercial email clearly identifies us, is marked as a commercial communication, and includes a free, one-click unsubscribe. We maintain a permanent suppression list to honour opt-outs, and we never sell your data or share it for third-party marketing.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to your data, to rectify inaccuracies, to erase your data, to restrict or object to processing — including objecting to direct marketing at any time — and to data portability.
To stop receiving emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message or email us; we will stop immediately and permanently. To exercise any other right, contact us below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Romania, the ANSPDCP(dataprotection.ro); in Spain, the AEPD (aepd.es).
Data Protection
We protect the information entrusted to us using encryption, secure and access-controlled systems, and regular checks to prevent unauthorized access. While no system is completely immune to threats, our continuous efforts minimize risks.
Data is processed within the European Union. Where a provider (for example, Google Workspace) processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep professional contact details only as long as needed for the outreach purpose or until you opt out — after which your email is retained solely on our suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again.
